A Load of Codswallop is a blog that discusses musings, anecdotes, and interesting information about a range of topics usually pertaining to graphic design, print, writing, urban living, and occasionally, Taoist philosophy.
I teach communication design, graphic arts technology, and print communications at British Columbia Institute of Technology. I’ve got over 30 years of industry experience that I’m eager to share with my students, but I’m also quick to admit that there’s always something more to learn. I hold an MA in Learning and Technology from Royal Roads University, and a 2017 open education advocacy and research fellowship with BCcampus.
For fun, I enjoy running, bike riding, reading, writing, and pretty much anything that’s timey-wimey, (or wibbly wobbly). And now for something completely different: I am not your father, not a number, 4 8 15 16 23 42, more human than human, the one who knocks, make it so, so say we all, and have been 42 for as long as I can remember.
